An early practitioner of biomimetic innovation, Viktor Schauberger’s (1885-1958) drawings make up a diagrammatic expression of his mantra “Understand and Copy” (“Kapieren und Kopieren”). The drawings show a wide selection of ideas where the shapes of nature become the principle of technical innovation, in particular vortexes and implosion.
